Director Don Winton at the Mark Taper Forum. I helped with errands and
administrative tasks, and also frequently participated in "load-ins" and
"strikes" assisting Lighting and Set Designers, on approximately 20
productions (original productions and national tours). Assisted Lighting
Designer Martin Arronstein on CTG/Universal film production, the Zoot Suit movie.
1979-80 - Production

Music Business
In the late 80's and early 90's, Kim co-owned an independent record label called Blue Jazz Records (we recorded pianist George Michalski, the Waterfront Blues Band, saxophonist Vince Wallace and Johnny Nitro and the Doorslammers, among others).. She was Assistant Producer on several classic jazz re-issue recordings for MCA's GRP, Decca, Chess and Commodore labels. She was a governor and president of the SF chapter of NARAS and production coordinator for rock merchandiser Winterland Productions (see 90's promotional video).
